Key responsibilities:

This position is responsible for ensuring successful delivery of mainly ecommerce & marketing automation projects with large enterprise clients (new and existing). The Delivery Director will lead a team of 10 - 15 project managers delivering technology projects including new implementations, upgrades, and change requests (new modules, training, workflow changes).

Job responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for leading delivery of client projects from planning to execution and testing
  • Participate in review of business requirement gathering, design and project plan
  • Help manage project risk
  • Interface with clients during projects including frequent onsite meetings
  • As a customer escalation point, handle delicate client situations whilst carefully considering both the customer and the company’s viewpoint
  • Manage internal and external expectations on all aspects of project
  • Lead multiple projects of varying sizes at any given time
  • Responsible for looking after a variety of clients across our global customer base
  • Developing deep rooted relationship with existing and new customers
  • Play an active role in client contract negotiations and sales opportunities
  • Deliver the identified departmental goals around client satisfaction, revenue, team development
  • Responsible for the quality of the services that the team provides and profitability of the projects.
  • Responsible for the management of an experienced Project Managers team.
  • Help build a solid team in long term
  • Developing a progressive recruitment, induction, ongoing training and research system to ensure high-quality substance and a capabilities in the entire team
  • Plan for optimum resource utilization and synchronize with HR for resource needs

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
  • At least 5 years in similar position and over 10 years in software development management position of software outsourcing company with proven track record.
  • Proven experience managing managers and team of 100+ staffs with high performance, customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction.
  • Proven ability for influencing stake holders and business leadership.
  • Proven excellent servant leadership.
  • Dare to take action and responsibility. Result-oriented.
  • Excellent English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skill, conflict resolution, people management, scope management, expectation management and risk management.
  • Care for people, people development and organization development.
  • Deep and wide knowledge and experience in software development best practices and processes with proven records.
