Project Manager (Japanese Native Speaker)

Key responsibilities:

As a Project Manager, you will be in charge of the following:

  • Supporting the project team in their direct interactions with clients in Japan from full cycle of the project including gathering project requirements, reporting project progress, go live…
  • Ensuring smooth communication between the internal team and Japanese clients, including on spot translating from Japanese to English and vice versa in the meeting.
  • Preparing, translating and reviewing project status reports and other documents before sending out
  • Being intensively trained on project process, domain, platform to handle questions from stakeholders
  • Understand the client’s needs and maintain a good business relationship with them.
  • Support sales, pre-sales and marketing activities where Japanese language is used
  • Other tasks assigned by Senior Project Manager.

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Native Japanese proficiency
  • Professional English proficiency
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role is required
  • Extensive experience in customer-facing roles with excellent business understanding is necessary
  • Experience in working with offshore teams is essential
  • Nice to have:
    - Experience in E-commerce projects, CRM, marketing, and ERP products
    - Knowledge of Agile/Scrum software development lifecycle
    - Experience with project management and communication tools such as MS Teams, Jira, Confluence, etc…
  • Personal skills: Good interpersonal skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, attention to detail, proactiveness, and a sense of responsibility
