Role Overview

The Solution Architect will be a key technical leader responsible for shaping the architectural vision and delivery of enterprise-grade solutions for projects. You will bridge the gap between complex business requirements. This role requires a blend of traditional e-commerce expertise and forward-thinking integration of multiple systems.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Architectural Leadership: Set the technology direction for e-commerce and internal platform solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Integration & Middleware: Design robust integration patterns to connect back-office systems, legacy databases, and modern AI platforms.
  • Cloud & Infrastructure: Oversee the deployment and optimization of applications within Azure Cloud Services, focusing on scalability, security, and observability.
  • Data Realignment: Work closely with stakeholders to ensure proper data ownership across systems to support business requirements.
  • Technical Validation: Develop Proof of Concepts to validate solutions, architectures, and complex integration flows.
  • Governance: Establish coding standards, perform deep-dive technical evaluations, and lead architecture review boards for both projects.

 

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, especially in an enterprise project using Java/microservices
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Java Mastery: Extensive experience in Java-based architectures and frameworks.
    • Integration Patterns: Proven experience with Apache Camel or similar EIP (Enterprise Integration Patterns) frameworks.
    • Modern Cloud Stack: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (AKS), Docker, and Kustomize for container orchestration.
    • E-commerce Foundations: Experience with platforms like SAP Hybris is highly preferred.
  • Leadership & Soft Skills:
    • Strategic Thinking: Ability to manage architectural needs across two distinct projects simultaneously.
    • Stakeholder Management: Experience in pre-sales or customer-facing roles, with the ability to explain complex AI/Architecture concepts to non-technical partners.
    • Mentorship: A track record of leading technical teams and mentoring junior/senior developers.
    • Communication: Fluent in English (written and verbal) for collaboration with international internal and external partners.
    • Agile Mindset: Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and the ability to pivot technical direction based on project sprints.
