About the Role

We’re looking for a Design System Designer to help scale a multi-platform, enterprise-level design system for one of the most innovative names in [automotive / digital commerce / CX / mobility]. You’ll translate brand and product requirements into reusable components, patterns, and tokens, enabling teams across regions to build faster, more consistently, and with accessibility at the core.

What You’ll Do

Evolve and maintain our cross-platform design system in Figma, ensuring consistency, scalability, and efficiency across products.
Define and document components, patterns, and usage guidelines in platforms like Zeroheight.
Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure component parity between Figma and code libraries (React, Vue, native apps).
Champion accessibility, ensuring all components meet WCAG 2.2 AA standards.
Partner with brand and product teams to ensure design system evolution supports business goals and global market needs.
Contribute to governance, helping establish contribution models, versioning, and change management.

What You’ll Bring

Design System Fundamentals

Deep understanding of design system principles: consistency, scalability, efficiency.
Proficiency in UX/UI best practices, including atomic design, design tokens, and accessibility.
Ability to think in terms of reusable, flexible components.

Technical Acumen

Expertise in Figma (variants, component properties, auto-layout).
Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript concepts).
Experience with documentation platforms (Zeroheight, Storybook).
Familiarity with version control concepts (Git).

Bonus Points

Experience in automotive UX/UI or other high-complexity, multi-market industries.
Familiarity with in-vehicle HMI, dealership platforms, or connected car digital ecosystems.
